At Occupational Therapy In Motion, we offer a variety of occupational therapy services including:
Hippotherapy, which refers to the movement of the horse in which the horse is the tool and the movement is the strategy. This movement strategy is incorporated into a total plan as part of an integrated treatment program to achieve functional outcomes of care in occupational therapy treatment. Therapists use the movement of the horse as a treatment strategy to address impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities in patients with neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction and sensory processing disorder.
Clinic based Sensory Integrative activities. Sensory Integration is "the organization of sensory information for use" (Ayres, 1972).
